BRAFFERTON INN

Welcome to Historic Downtown Gettysburg. Take a step back in time and make the Brafferton Inn the headquarters for your stay. Built in 1786, this elegant field stone house is the corner-stone of Gettysburg’s Historic District located just one half block from Lincoln Square. Just step out our front door and you are within a short walk to all the downtown antiques shops, art galleries, civil war shops, restaurants, museums, and ghost tours. The Inn’s history reflects over 200 years of changes, but you can still feel the old-fashioned charm and warmth that makes the house a home. The house retains the original style and character of the period when it was built.
